Fool Proof is a compact variety of Gardenia jasminoides with dark glossy leaves. It produces fragrant double white flowers in spring and has improved disease resistance. Upright in habit, it grows best in full sun or semi-shade in well-drained, acid to neutral soil. Use fertiliser suited to acid-loving plants. Protect from cold; ideal for containers that can be moved indoors in winter. Supplied in a 2L pot at approximately 25 cm tall; maximum height around 90 cm.
